ERA Report February 2014 - The case for investing in the regional airline industry
The European Regions Airline Association (ERA), identified the lack of commercial finance in the regional aircraft sector, compared to narrow and wide body aircraft, as a cause for concern. In response, ALTAÏR prepared a report - ‘The Case for Investing in Regional Aircraft’, which was presented by Head of Regional and Commercial Aviation at ALTAÏR, Angus von Schoenberg, in Dublin, at the Annual Growth Frontiers Conference, 2014.

FEBRUARY 2014 - ALTAÏR advises Intersky and concludes successful sale and leaseback of two Bombardier Dash 8 Q300
ALTAÏR is pleased to announce successful completion of the sale and leaseback of two Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 aircraft, on behalf of Intersky Luftfahrt GmbH.
The aircraft registered OE-LSB and OE-LIC were purchased by a US Lessor and leased back to Intersky under an operating lease agreement.
JANUARY 2014 - Falcon 20 S/N 307 registered F-HJYL successfully sold and delivered
ALTAÏR is pleased to report the successful sale for dismantling and delivery of Falcon 20, bearing serial number 307 and registered F-HJYL on 30th January 2014, only three months after having been appointed as exclusive remarketing agent for the sale of this aircraft. This follows the successful sale for dismantling of another Falcon 20 S/N 311 registered F-BVPN in October 2013.

April 2014 - ALTAÏR presents at ERA Financial Forum
Angus von Schoenberg, Head of Regional and Commercial Aviation co-presented “The Case for Investing in the Regional Airline Industry” with Simon McNamara, DG of the ERA at its first financial forum in London on 14th April. The report commissioned by the ERA in 2013 and prepared by ALTAÏR was presented to a selected group of 25 London based aircraft finance bankers and financiers at the offices of Kennedys law firm.
